​Catalin has over 15 years’ experience in finance, treasury and restructuring in international business with an emphasis on Eastern Europe. Sector experience is automotive supply, energy, oil and gas and the business to business sector. He has held NOD positions for several companies, including the biggest cola based energy producer in Romania and has been CFO of a large European subsidiary of a US automotive Tier 1 supplier and of ING Real Estate. He has a focus on NPL portfolio workout and divestment in CEE countries and enterprise risk management and value generation in distressed and underperforming businesses. He is a graduate in finance from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, a Director of TMA Romania and is fluent in Romanian and English.
