After his study in commercial and business economics, Daan Noort started his professional career in 1987 in a middle sized IT-company in The Netherlands.

The first seven years his focus was on marketing & sales, building up the company to a serious market player in several branches. After that, he managed further grow and professionalism within the organization, also restructuring of non-vital parts of the business. In 2000 Daan sold his shares and became managing partner of UNO business consultants. He is an allround senior business consultant, strong in finding the best strategy or solution in complex situations and also getting it done.

UNO has over 25 years of experience in mid-market companies and organizations (50-1.000 fte). UNO focusses on guiding and coaching DMS and management teams in special business situations, especially managing insolvency, restructuring and revitalizing businesses (turnaround management). UNO-consultants are also frequently engaged in M&A, business strategy and boardroom consultancy.
