Experienced senior independent executive within the Special Situations arena.  A Partner and Head of Lending in a European retail focussed investor and direct lending fund in a JV with a global US hedge fund until August 2017. Previously a Senior Managing Director - Investments at a US-owned retail and consumer products restructuring firm, with responsibility for Europe until December 2013.  He has built up an extensive contact base and experience in the UK, European and Asian stressed and distressed restructuring arena across multiple sectors as well as the asset-based lending community.

Previously a senior professional with a major UK bank in London where he carved out a solid reputation in the workout team at that bank over many years.

A Fellow of the European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP). A full working knowledge, as principal, of investing in turnarounds through equity and debt instruments. Holds positions on the independent professionals’ panel of major accountancy practices and advisors. With many years of exposure to complex structures, acquisitions, restructurings and divestments holding board level executive appointments. Has worked extensively in corporate insolvency and recovery disciplines, focussing within the UK, Ireland and German legal frameworks but with cross border exposure in France, Benelux, Scandinavia, Bangladesh, Australia and Hong Kong.
