Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
All associates and members are required as a condition of their continuing membership of the EACTP to conduct Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The extent of CPD will depend on what you personally assess to be necessary to maintain your competence in the turnaround management services you provide.
The EACTP recognises structured and unstructured CPD. Structured CPD is attained by attendance at an approved course. Unstructured CPD is any activity carried out by a member considered to be of an educational nature, excluding attendance at an approved course, for example preparation for a presentation.
Minimum annual requirements
Members are required to complete a minimum of five hours of structured CPD training per annum or alternatively 15 hours of unstructured CPD training per year.
Structured CPD training
Structured CPD training required to comply with members’ minimum CPD requirements can only be provided by organisations approved by the EACTP for this purpose.
Annual declaration
Members are required to provide an annual declaration that they have complied with the minimum CPD requirements appropriate to their personal circumstances. Evidence will be required to be provided to support any renewal of a practising certificate or on request by the SAC.
