Online Event - Turnaround in 2021:  A new playing field, new rules and new tools

There is light at the end of the tunnel for those many businesses affected adversely by a year of lockdowns. In the Board rooms of Europe directors are grappling with the what, when and how of the new business landscape. One thing is for certain. For many businesses life is about to change. Business models must adapt not only to Covid related distress but to other factors; climate change induced challenges such as auto, supply chain and trade disruption from political moves, and to technology change such as retail with on line buying and the travel industry now that executives have discovered Zoom.

Change has always been good for Turnaround Managers but we too must adapt to the new landscape. Different referral sources, distressed investors with war chests loaded, over leveraged businesses with uncertain payback terms, and new and untested restructuring laws. There was never a better time to be a turnaround manager.

Three leading professionals from Netherlands, UK and Germany discuss their views on what to expect, when, and how to seize the opportunities. What is relevant in their jurisdictions will be relevant across all of Europe.
